细菌性痢疾是由痢疾杆菌主要通过手和苍蝇所污染的食品经口而传染的一种肠道传染病。每年夏秋发病率最高,任何年龄皆可得病,但以小儿患者为多见。其临床症状为发病较急,畏寒发热,便次增多,腹泻粘液样或脓血样大便,腹痛及里急后重。中毒型菌痢则发病急骤,可在不见肠道症状前即出现高热、惊厥、神志不清、面青肢冷,呼吸微弱等全身中毒症状,若不及时诊治抢救常因呼吸循环衰竭

The clinical symptoms are acute onset, chills and fever, then increased, diarrhea, mucus-like or pus-like blood stool, abdominal pain and tenesmus. Poisonous bacillary dysentery is rapidly onset. It can cause symptoms of systemic poisoning such as high fever, convulsions, confusion, pale blue limbs, and weak respiratory sensation before bowel symptoms are seen. If symptoms are not treated promptly, rescue and rescue are often caused by respiratory and circulatory failure.
