为适应新时期改革发展需要和新的山东省经济和信息化委员会组建后职能调整,充分发挥社团组织在电子信息产业发展中的纽带和桥梁作用,搭建企业与政府、市场、社会中介组织、国际机构交流、沟通和服务的公共平台,推进我省信息产业快速发展,经山东省民政厅批准,原山东省电子行业国际贸易促进会于2010年7月26日正式更名为山东省信息产业协会,山东省经济和信息化委员会为主管部门,其中电子信息处为业务指导处室。
