近几年我国档案界,对某些业务理论及实践方面问题的研究有些争论,其中就包括档案馆人员是否应当参与历史研究这一问题。开始在看法上很不一致,但随着档案事业的不断发展,人们已经逐渐认识到,档案馆人员参与历史研究,可以提高档案馆工作者的素质,提高编纂档案史料汇编的质量,提高档案馆在社会文化界的地位。这是档案事业发展的必然趋势。也是历史科学发展的必然要求。笔者在档案馆从事编研工作多年,十分赞成档案馆工作人员应当积极地主动地参与历史研究。我在进行编纂档案史料的同时,着力于地方史学的研究,取得了一定的成果。根据实践体会,在1988年笔者写出《试论档案馆参与历史研究的可能性与必要性》一文,阐述了自己的见解。十几年来,先后在报刊杂志上发表有关历史方面的文章200余篇,参与合著《黑龙江省市县设治时间考》等书。尤其是发表在《新晚报》上的地方史研究文章引发了“哈尔滨寻根”、“哈尔滨纪元”两场学术讨论,有关部门为此召开两次学术研讨会,在此基础上,撰写出《哈尔滨寻根》一书(共30万字,即将由黑龙江省对外文化交流协会资助出版,拟向海内外公开发行),对哈尔滨地方史的研究有一定推进作用,收到了较好的社会效益。

According to the practical experience, in 1988, the author wrote a paper entitled “Possibilities and Necessities of Participating Archives in Historical Research” and elaborated his own opinions. More than a decade, has published in newspapers and magazines more than 200 articles on history, involved in co-authored “Heilongjiang Province counties time test” and other books. In particular, local history research articles published in the “New Evening News” triggered two academic discussions such as “Harbin Roots”, “Harbin Era”, and relevant departments held two academic seminars for this purpose. On this basis, Writing “Harbin Roots” (a total of 30 words, about to be sponsored by the Heilongjiang Provincial Association for Cultural Exchanges and Publication, to be public offering at home and abroad), Harbin has a certain role in promoting the study of local history, has received good social benefits .
