This is an unforgettable interview. That was October 1989, when I went to Stuttgart, Germany, to interview the 25th World Gymnastics Championships with the Chinese gymnastics team. The competition, which was large in size and high in level, was the first time that it was scored in accordance with the latest rules of the International Gymnastics Federation, attracting more than 1,000 journalists from 86 countries.
