中国煤炭工业协会煤炭地质分会,于2001年经国家经贸委批准成立。煤炭地质分会成立之初缺少资金、缺少经验、缺少资源、缺少影响力、缺少话语权。但分会工作者凭着对煤炭(田)地质事业的热爱,在各会员单位的支持下,靠着干事创业的激情,在困难面前以孜孜不倦的精神摸索前进,以服务会员单位、服务政府决策、促进行业发展为己任,脚踏实地、扎实工作,使煤炭地质分会的机构不断健全、业务不断发展。11年来,煤炭地质分会从无到有、从小到大、由弱到强,伴随着行业发展不断壮大,如今,煤炭地质分会已经发展成为维系全国煤炭(田)地勘单位的组织体系,亦是行业内交流业务、促进发展不可或缺的良好平台。下面这篇报道对如何做好行业协会的工作将有所启发与借鉴。
