挪威地效船国际公司(以下简称ESI公司)与其欧洲的7家合作伙伴正在研制新概念气垫登陆艇。这种设计新颖、线型别致、选材独特的高速气垫登陆艇,在解决传统气垫登陆艇的主要缺陷诸如材料与结构设计、艇体坚固性、气垫气囊与围裙设计、提高机动性和生存能力等方面均有较大的突破,其主要性能远远超过现有的传统排水型登陆艇,也优于许多国家的现役气垫登陆艇。在原有“气垫支承船”的专利技术基础上,该公司在研发气垫登陆艇的过程中,已经形成了建造气垫登陆艇的成套专利技术。
