Approved by the State Council, Fuxin High-tech Zone officially promoted to a national high-tech industrial development zone. On July 15, Fuxin City convened a national high-tech industrial development zone construction promotion conference. Vice Minister Cao Jianlin of Science and Technology unveiled for the Fuxin National Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone. Shangguan Wei Xing, deputy secretary general of Liaoning Provincial People’s Government, and Liu Xiaodong, party secretary and director of Liaoning Science and Technology Department attended the meeting. Fuxin High-tech Zone was approved as a provincial high-tech zone by Liaoning Provincial People’s Government in August 2006. Over the years, Fuxin High-tech Zone has been implementing innovation-driven strategy in an in-depth manner and has continuously increased input in scientific and technological innovation.
