不久以前,日本岩波书店马场公彦先生来信说,准备将《日伪统治下的北平》(中国人民政治协商会议北京市委员会文史资料研究委员会编)一书选译成日文,在九一八事变60周年之前出版;马场先生并约我们为该书的日文版作序。能把这本书介绍给广大日本读者,这也是我们的愿望,岩波书店所做的这什事,对于促进中日友好,维护世界和平,无疑是很有意义的。
Not long ago, Mr. Yoshihiko Kobayashi of Japan’s Ikebukuro Bookstore wrote a letter saying he was prepared to translate Peking under the rule of Japan and the Puppet into a single language (compiled by the Historical Data Research Committee of the Beijing Municipal Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference) in Japanese. Before the anniversary of publication; Mr. Racecourse and about us to order the Japanese version of the book. This book can be introduced to a large number of Japanese readers. This is also our wish. What is done by Iwanami Shoten is undoubtedly of great significance for promoting Sino-Japanese friendship and safeguarding world peace.
