解释学家加达默尔曾提出,必须唤醒并且保持清醒的诠释学意识。这一观点对翻译具有深远的理论意义和实践价值。鉴于任何一种理解都是在一定前理解之下的理解,因此,任何具体翻译中的理解都既是一种结果,也是一种不断深化的过程。翻译理论研究和翻译实践者要培养质疑精神。然而,既然翻译的目的是用目的语再现原文的意义,那么原文本的译文在一定历史条件下总要有个边界,不能天马行空、无限延伸。通过统计、分析大陆地区高校和港澳台地区高校“文学院”的英译情况,文章指出大陆大学英文网站尚存在不严谨、不严肃、不规范等问题,并提出:英译大学网站时,译者要尊重文本的原意,充分发挥译者的主体性,关照目的语读者。

Through the statistics and analysis of the English translation of colleges and universities in Hong Kong, Maucao and Macao, the article points out that there are still some problems in the English website of mainland universities, such as not rigorous, not serious, non-standard and so on. , The translator should respect the original intention of the text, give full play to the subjectivity of the translator, and take care of the target readers.
