In 2014, General Secretary Xi Jinping delivered an important speech at the symposium on literary and art work, pointing out the direction for the prosperity and development of the literary and art undertakings in our country at present and in the coming period. Since then, the “CPC Central Committee’s Opinions on Prospering and Developing Socialist Literature and Art” was issued and an all-round deployment of literary work under the new situation has been made. China’s art and literature ushered in the spring, entered a new stage of development. Under the paramount importance of the Corps party committees, the vast majority of literary and art workers in the Corps keep their mission firmly under their control and focus on the construction of an advanced cultural demonstration area to continuously improve the quality and level of literary and artistic creation.
