日本国际电信电话公司(KDD)和索尼公司,最近研制出可反复记录的光磁盘。这两家公司还试制了装有光学磁头的磁盘装置。如用上述系统进行数字记录,一枚30cm光磁盘可记录A 4号图纸4万张;20cm盘可记录2万张。与软磁盘相比,光磁盘的记录密度高500~1,000倍。光磁盘的另一优点是,其Tb-FeCo记录层由保护膜密封,可长期保存和反复记录。目前,KDD公司将在国际通信服务中
Japan’s International Telecommunication Telephone Company (KDD) and Sony Corp. recently developed a magneto-optical disk that records repeatedly. The two companies also trial-built disk devices equipped with optical heads.
