“主语”作为重要的句子成分和语法现象,在书面和口语交际中发挥着重要的功能。从“语言作为文化载体”的观点出发,以“社会文化根基决定民族思维方式”的线索,探求汉英双语中“主语”的使用差异,分析差异产生的社会文化基础,进而探究语言折射的民族思维方式。理解民族思维方式,一方面对英汉翻译有所助益,另一方面,也有助于提升汉英双语交际中的跨文化意识。
As an important sentence component and grammatical phenomenon, “subject” plays an important role in writing and oral communication. From the perspective of “language as a cultural carrier ”, this paper uses the clue of “social and cultural foundation to determine the national way of thinking ” to explore the differences of use of “subject ” in Chinese and English bilinguals, analyze the social and cultural basis of differences, Then we explore the national way of thinking of language refraction. To understand the way of national thinking can not only help English-Chinese translators on the one hand, but also help to promote cross-cultural awareness in bilingual communication between Chinese and English.
