According to preliminary statistics released by the World Trade Organization (WTO), China’s total import and export volume of goods in 2013 was 4.16 trillion U.S. dollars, surpassing that of the United States and jumped to the number one trading power in the world. Under the circumstance of the aftermath of the international financial crisis, the difficult recovery of the world economy and the downward pressure on the domestic economy, it is hard won by China’s foreign trade to obtain such a “report card”, which once again verifies the resilience of China’s foreign trade and vitality.
