电力部岩土测试仪器考察组于1980年11月15日至12月7日赴英国就土工室内试验仪器和土坝观测仪器进行考察。英方主要接待单位是威克曼·法瑞斯工程公司(Wykeham.Farrance Engineering Limited)。考察组考察了仪器制造厂家、科研机构、大学、土工试验承包公司及土石坝等十二个单位。对英国土工室内试验仪器、土坝观测仪器的研究、制造及使用情况有了基本了解,现简单介绍如下。
Ministry of Electric Power geotechnical test equipment inspection team in November 15, 1980 to December 7 went to the United Kingdom on the geotechnical indoor test equipment and earth dam observation equipment inspection. The main reception unit in the UK is Wykeham. Farrance Engineering Limited. The inspection team inspected the equipment manufacturers, research institutes, universities, geotextile contracting companies and earth dam and other twelve units. The British geotechnical indoor test equipment, earth dam observation equipment research, manufacture and use of a basic understanding of the situation, are briefly described below.
