在中国现代文学史上,大学教育与现代文学之间有着非常密切的关系。五四新文学首先诞生于北京大学,在某种意义上就是一种校园文学。在此之前,中国文学创作和接受的主体都与大学没有什么关系,是在蔡元培主持下革新了的北京大学给现代文学的兴起提供了条件。其后,文学整体生态发生变化,但大学教育一直是影响现代文学发展的重要因素。
In the history of modern Chinese literature, there is a very close relationship between university education and modern literature. May Fourth new literature was first born in Peking University, in a sense, is a kind of campus literature. Prior to this, both the main body of Chinese literature creation and acceptance had nothing to do with the university, and provided conditions for the rise of modern literature at the renovated Peking University under the leadership of Cai Yuanpei.
