Infection caused by methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) is a clinical challenge. In the field of spinal surgery prevention and treatment of suppurative spondylitis, discography or surgery caused by infection need to be given antibacterial drugs. Cephalosporin antibiotic Cefu-zonam Sodium (CZON) is an effective drug for the treatment of MRSA infections and the authors investigated the extent to which CZON migrated to the intervertebral disc.
