随着电子计算机的普及,在荧屏前工作的人健康是否受损害,已成为人们关心的问题。最近在联邦德国对这个问题展开了一场争论。电子计算机的绝大部分终端机的工作原理同电视机是一样的,开机后会产生游动缓慢的低频波,在荧屏前形成静电场。专家们认为,长期在这种环境下工作,有的人会出现头痛、皮肤泛红,甚至流鼻血等症状。此外,每秒50次以上的快速画面变换还会产生低频电场,可能直接伤害人的细胞组织,引起病变。
