中国美术家协会第四届常务理事扩大会于1997年8月13日、14日在北京召开。来自全国各地的30名常务理事、3名扩大代表及中宣部、中国文联有关部门领导出席了会议,中国美协各部室、《美术》杂志的负责人列席了会议。会议由中国美协副主席王琦、华君武、秦征分别主持。 中国美协常务副主席、分党组书记、第五次美代会筹备组组长王琦致开幕词。
The Fourth Annual General Director of China Artists Association Enlarged Congress was held in Beijing on August 13 and 14, 1997. 30 executive directors from all over China, 3 delegates for expansion and leaders of Central Propaganda Department and relevant departments of China Federation of Literary and Art Circles attended the conference. Leaders of Fine Arts Magazine attended the conference. The meeting was chaired by Wang Qi, Hua Junwu and Qin Zheng, vice chairmen of the China Artists Association. Executive Vice Chairman of China Artists Association, Secretary of the Party Branch, and Wang Qi, leader of the preparatory team for the fifth American-American Congress, delivered the opening speech.
