American ginseng is an Araliaceae plant Panaxquinque-foliumL. The dry roots and ginseng pills (capsules) were prepared from American ginseng root mills. Ginseng rhizome is a non-medicinal part and is not human. According to the current standard [1], we could not detect whether the American ginseng rhizome and its content were mixed in the ginseng pill. The main reason was that the appearance of the ginseng crushed was destroyed and the microscopic characteristics of the root and stem of the ginseng were added.
