The American College of Chest Physicians recently held a four-day conference in Boston where thoracic authorities presented new research advances in cardiology. Survival of patients with myocardial infarction Dr. Weinberg of Ohio studied 208 hospitalizations for coronary heart disease from 1967 to 68 and followed up for 12 years in 90% of patients with acute myocardial infarction. He found that 70% of them died within 12 years; more died of ventricular during hospitalization
