Difficult! Earlier this year, the school leaders in all secondary vocational schools in Shanghai are feeling pressure because they have already felt that there is not a fair employment situation for graduates this year. The reduction of hiring calls and the cancellation of order cooperation have further strengthened their judgment. However, in the past six months, after a series of response measures such as “fermentation”, the situation seems to have undergone some good changes. The goal of “insurance” has become a possible goal. So, what is the employment rate of secondary vocational school graduates in Shanghai? What measures have been taken to promote employment? What are the implications of this international financial crisis? With these questions, we interviewed the Shanghai Education Commission Teaching Office Director Wang Xiangqun and some vocational school heads.
