一九五七年，中国公安部曾向苏联派出了二十五名年轻军官赴列宁格勒消防技术专科学校留学，专攻消防。 作为一个整体，这批留苏学员在苏联的两年学习中，为我们国家，为中国消防赢得了荣誉 他们在回国后的四十多年历程中，为中国消防事业的发展作出的成就，功不可没。而他们每位同志个人所取得的业绩，也是值得人们钦佩的。 今天，在中国历经十五年的艰辛谈判后终于加入ＷＴＯ的时刻，本刊独家报道这段鲜为人知的历史，也是为中国消防留下一段光辉的记载。 如今，当年英姿勃勃的二十五名留苏学员，已经离休或退休，离开了工作多年的岗位—但是他们对中国消防事业的拳拳之心和执著追求—永远值得发扬与光大，也值得当今年青一代的消防官兵视为榜样。
In 1957, the Chinese Ministry of Public Security sent 25 young officers to the Soviet Union to go to Leningrad Fire Technical College to study firefighting.
