1980年到1982年,《档案工作》杂志社发起了关于“档案”定义的讨论。这是建国以来对“档案”定义规模最大的一次讨论。讨论涉及了档案的本质属性和组成要素,其理论成果是令人瞩目的。近年来,人们对档案的认识又有了新的重大突破,提出了“档案的本质是信息,这种信息具有原始记录性”的观点。但最近档案学界对档案定义的讨论似乎进入“冷战”阶段。笔者认为,档案作为档案学的核心研究对象,有进一步探讨之必要。
From 1980 to 1982, Archives worked on a discussion of the definition of “archives.” This is the largest definition of “archives” since the founding of the People’s Republic of China. The discussion involved the essential attributes and components of the file, and its theoretical achievements were remarkable. In recent years, people have a new major breakthrough in their understanding of archives and put forward the view that “the essence of archives is information, and this information has original recordability.” However, the recent discussion on the definition of archives in archival scholarship seems to have entered the “Cold War” phase. The author believes that the file as the core research object of archives, to further explore the necessary.
