现在,我感到在文风上应当避免“十景病”。“十景病”,就是在报道工作中的新成效、新气象、新经验时,列举的不是九条,也不是十一条,而非凑成十条不可。例如,“十件新事”、“十件好事”、“十喜临门”、“十大新闻”,等等。不是说这些新闻的内容不好,也不是说“十景文”的形式不可用,有的还是写得好的,一景是一景,引人入胜。我说的是有的作者不从内容出发,一概都采用开列条条的方法来报道,而且一开就是十条,未免陷入雷同化、
Now, I feel that I should avoid “ten scenes of disease” in my writing style. The “Ten Outbreaks of Disease” refers to the new results, new weather and new experiences in the work of reporting. When it is enumerated, it is not nine, nor eleven, but not ten. For example, “Ten New Things,” “Ten Good Things,” “Ten New Hopes,” “Top Ten News,” and so on. Not to say that the content of these news is not good, nor does it mean that the forms of “Ten Kingdoms” are not available, some are still well written, and one scene is a scene full of fascination. What I am saying is that some authors do not set out from the content and they all use the method of listing articles to cover them.
