(Continued) V. International and Domestic Tourism Market: “Antinomy” Phenomenon In recent years, China’s inbound tourism is facing a grim situation. The number of inbound tourists receiving tourism in China has been on the contrary to the rapid growth of domestic tourists and has been declining year after year. Many times, leaders of the National Tourism Administration also stressed at various conferences that attention should be paid to the development of the inbound tourism market and measures such as a 72-hour transit visa-freeing plan have also been put in place. In particular, key tourist cities also include the development of inbound tourism market as a priority, investing relatively large amounts of funds for marketing, such as Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou and Chengdu, have invested heavily in overseas markets
