现代冲天炉一般都设有前炉,装设前炉的目的是为了储存更多的铁水,以适应生产的需要,同时使铁水的化学成分和温度更加均匀,渣与铁可彻底分开,减少铁水的吸碳和吸硫。由于冲天炉连续出铁,炉料能够均匀地下降,易保持熔化工作的正常进行。但是如果前炉修砌不当,则可能发生过桥堵塞,工作门漏铁水,出铁口、出渣口打不开等故障。轻则影响冲天炉熔化工作的正常进行,重则被迫中途停炉。下面谈谈修砌前炉的步骤和注意事项。
