对于古埃及人来说,尼罗河是埃及人民的万物之母,她滋养了埃及悠久灿烂的文化,哺育了世代埃及人民。时于印度人民来说,恒河是印度的圣河,她孕育了印度的文明。对于中国人来说黄河是中国的母亲河,抚育了灿烂的华夏文明。河流是人类文明的发源地,河流为人类的生存和发展提供了充足的水源。新宾满族自治县位于辽宁东部山区,是清王朝的发祥地。全县共有大小河流1750务,河道总长6310公里,其中较大的苏子河、太子河和富尔江三大流域就汇聚在这里。三大水系干流两翼荒山,营造了以林下人参、细辛、淫羊藿为主的药材生产和以五味子、棘五加为主的药用原料林基地;以红松、胡桃楸为主的果材兼用林基地;以刺槐为主的薪炭林、菌用林和短轮伐期工业原料林基地;发展以城乡造林绿化为主的种苗花卉生产基地;以林蛙和鹿为主的野生动物繁育养殖基地;以木材精深加工为主的林副产品加工基地;以森林公园为主的森林生态旅游基地。新宾运用自身优越的自然资源,充分发挥“林下经济”、“庭院经济”、“生态经济”等生态绿色产业,促进着新宾经济不断地向前发展。
