A total of 200 cases of 4274 cases of otosclerosis during a prospective osteotomy were followed up for 13 to 14 years. The changes of the operative and non-surgical ear bones were observed. RESULTS: The hearing threshold of the non-operated otolaryngology was unchanged in 168 patients (84%). No change was found in the hearing threshold of the bones in 120 patients (60%). The hearing threshold was improved in 48 patients (24%), and the hearing threshold in 32 patients %) Bone conduction threshold decreased, of which non-surgical ears accounted for 75%. t test
