胡适(1891～1962),字适之,安徽绩溪人,早年提倡白话文,主张文学革命,是中国新文化运动的先驱者之一。但他的政治观点,尤其是他痴迷美国式的民主政治的观点,始终与中国的国情相背离,终为历史所淘汰。而他的个人生活、待人处世的方式,却留下了很多美谈。他是一个很有故事情节的历史人物。笔者有意摭拾其生平的几个片断,连撰成文,但愿能管中窥豹,从中显现其人格和品德。
Hu Shi (1891 ~ 1962), the word appropriate, Anhui Jixi people, advocating vernacular early years, advocating a literary revolution, is one of the pioneers of China’s new cultural movement. However, his political views, especially his obsession with American-style democratic politics, always depart from the national conditions of China and are eventually eliminated by history. However, his personal life and his way of dealing with others have left a lot of beautiful talk. He is a historical figure with a great storyline. I intend to pick up a few pieces of his life, even written by writing, hoping to manage the jungle, from which reveals their personality and character.
