Objective: To investigate the expression of Survivin, Caspase-3, p63 and bak in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and its significance. Methods: The expressions of Survivin, Caspase-3, p63 and Bak in 40 cases of cervical squamous cell carcinoma and 10 cases of normal cervical tissue were detected by immunohistochemistry. Results: The expression of Survivin protein in cervical cancer was significantly higher than that in normal cervical tissue (P <0.05), Caspase-3 expression was lower than that in normal cervical tissue (P <0.05), and the expression of p63 protein was higher than that in normal cervical tissue ); bak protein expression levels lower than normal cervical tissue (P <0.05). The expression of Survivin, Caspase-3, p63 and bak protein in cervical cancer with different degrees of differentiation was significantly different (P <0.05). Conclusion: The occurrence and development of cervical squamous cell carcinoma are related to the abnormal expression of Survivin, Caspase-3, p63 and bak proteins, which may be the result of the imbalance of cell proliferation and apoptosis.
