随着公路事业的发展,一方面公路的里程不断增加,标准日益提高,路政管理的任务不断加大,另一方面随着社会主义市场经济的发展,车辆成倍增加,车速越来越快,各种利益主体对公路的影响日趋严重,各种侵占、损坏偷窃公路财产和妨碍交通的违法案件时有发生,路政管理的难度也不断加大。因此,路政管理的重要性和紧迫性要求我们应尽快加强路政管理队伍的建设,解决多年来尚未解决的问题,以适应飞速发展的交通事业的需要。
