France SAGEM (General Electric Machinery) developed a stable target for the TSE6200 twin 20 gun from Thomson-CSF (Johnson Controls Radio). The sight is integrated with a high repetition rate laser range finder to enable the fire director computer to obtain information about the target’s future point (the target’s instantaneous distance and angular velocity). The sight mainly consists of the following components: gyro stabilized collimator (SAGEM’s GSL type gyroscope); Galileo zoom system; laser rangefinder optical system; and the image converter is connected to the eyepiece bracket; sight and Combination prism.
