民族文化体现一个民族的精神风貌。“德化精神”是大理最优秀的民族文化。大理历史悠久、文化灿烂、民族团结、重视教育。大理白族历来重视对汉文化的吸收,通过对儒、释、道等文化的兼收并蓄,立足本民族的思想,在哲学思想、礼乐伦理等方面有许多独到的建树,推动了白族文化朝着更加丰富、更加成熟的方向发展,使大理赢得了“文献名邦”的美誉,这种精神对现代建构和谐社会仍具有很好的借鉴意义。
Ethnic culture embodies the spirit of a nation. “Spirit of Dehua” is Dali’s best national culture. Dali has a long history, brilliant culture, national unity, and emphasis on education. The Dali Bai people have always attached great importance to the absorption of the Han culture. Through the incorporation of Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism and other cultures, based on their national ideals, the Bai people in the Dali Prefecture have many unique achievements in philosophical thinking, ritual and ethics, and promoted the Bai culture toward a more Diversified and more mature direction of development, Dali won the reputation of “literature and state”, this spirit of the modern construction of a harmonious society still has a good reference.
