To help health workers apply labor medicine to identify some of the health risks, here are some typical industrial practices and their common health hazards. Of course, the key is to remember that we have learned to understand the dangers of carefully looking at each of the various departments of the operation. Sand blasting equipment can be automated or hand operated. Various types of sand, steel balls, or other artificial friction materials can be applied. The level of dust in the air in the studio must be checked to confirm that the operator is not exposed to excessive (over standard) exposure.
