意象是诗词中不可或缺的成分更是诗歌的灵魂。如何在目的语中成功传译汉语古诗意象向来是翻译家和译论家青睐的话题。本研究借助认知语言学中的格式塔心理和合成空间等理论,就译者如何做到成功英译汉语古诗意象进行了解读和阐释。
Imagery is an integral part of poetry and poetry is the soul. How to successfully translate the Chinese ancient poem images in the target language has always been a topic favored by translators and theorists. This study uses the theories of Gestalt psychology and synthetic space in cognitive linguistics to explain and explain how translators translate Chinese poems into English successfully.
