今年“两会”前夕,新华网(www.xinhuanet.com)首页出现了一个新的频道:新华短信频道。这是新华社专为手机用户提供新闻信息服务而开辟的一项新业务。 “新华短信”目前主要有“两会”和“伊拉克危机”两个专题,共8个栏目的新闻信息产品。用户只需登录新华网首页,点击新华短信,按照提示就可以自己在手机上接收到新华社发布的最新新闻信息及相关服务。据统计,2002年,全国近2.1亿手机用户共发送了900亿条短信。
