浪漫主义文学思潮于从于18至19世纪开始盛行于欧洲。追求个性自由,强调感情抒发是其主要特点。浪漫主义在俄罗斯也取得了辉煌的成就。作家们塑造出一批“多余人”的典型形象,他们是具有浪漫主义精神的理想主义者,但是由于自身弱点和社会矛盾却无力实现自己的理想,成为被抛弃的多余人。在当今社会背景下,新时期的“多余人”如何处理个人理想和社会现实之间的矛盾是值得思考和探讨的问题。
Romantic literature thought prevailed in Europe from the 18th to the 19th centuries. The pursuit of individual freedom, emphasizing the expression of feelings is its main feature. Romanticism has also made brilliant achievements in Russia. The writers shape a group of typical images of “excess people.” They are idealists with romantic spirit. However, because of their own weaknesses and social conflicts, they are unable to realize their own ideals and become abandoned redundant people. Under the current social background, it is worth considering and discussing how to deal with the contradiction between individual ideal and social reality in “extra man ” in the new era.
