2002年10月14日,由天津市人民政府、国家经贸委和共青团中央共同主办的泰达华生生物技术及医药国际研讨会在天津经济技术开发区隆重开幕。研讨会以“生物技术与中国经济”为主题,围绕国内外生物、医药领域最新技术进展和发展趋势,生物、医药科技成果产业化,以及生物技术相关产业政策、法律、法规等问题进行深入探讨,旨在跟踪国际生物技术前沿理论,加强国际技术的交流,促进中国生物技术产业化的发展,建立年度国际级生物技术前瞻研讨会平台。
On October 14, 2002, the International Symposium on TEDA Watson Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical jointly organized by the Tianjin Municipal People’s Government, the State Economic and Trade Commission and the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League was grandly opened in Tianjin Economic and Technological Development Zone. The theme of the seminar is “Biotechnology and China’s Economy”, focusing on the latest technological advances and development trends in the field of biology and medicine at home and abroad, the industrialization of biological and pharmaceutical scientific and technological achievements, and the in-depth discussion of biotechnology-related industrial policies, laws and regulations. It aims to track the frontier theory of international biotechnology, strengthen the exchange of international technology, promote the development of China’s biotechnology industrialization, and establish an annual international-level biotechnology prospective seminar platform.
