运用玉米叶脉预测制种花期

玉米的叶脉由主脉和侧脉组成。由于各叶龄叶片上的叶脉呈一定规律出现,由此可以确定叶龄。而叶龄反映着内部穗分化进度,因此用叶脉确定叶龄后,便可预测花期相遇程度。用叶脉确定叶龄的方法是:把完全展开的一片叶向阳透视,数其主脉一侧的侧脉数,然后减去2,所得数即为该片叶的展开叶龄(第一叶除外)。穗位以上的叶片因出现二级叶脉,目测 Corn veins by the main veins and lateral veins.
