中共中央政治局委员、省委书记李长春同志最近对茂名的工作提出重要指示:希望茂名交出实践“三个代表”的好答卷,希望茂名在粤西建设发展中脱颖而出,成为粤西的璀璨明珠。贯彻落实李长春书记的指示,核心是茂名社会经济要更快地发展。思想是行动的先导,要更快地发展首先是思想要更加解放。改革开放以来,在实事求是思想路线指引下的一次次思想解放,都成为推动我国社会主义现代化建设事业向前发展的强大推动力。改革开放以来,我国经历了三次大的思想解放。第一次发生在1978年,以真理标准大讨论为标志,破除了“两个凡是”对人们思想和行为的禁锢,形成了“解放思想,实事求是,团结一致向前看”的共识,开辟了改革开放和建设有中国特色社会主义的新道路。第二次发生在1992
