无论如何,人类都接受不了动物的笑容。猫天真、优雅、警觉,眼神具有洞察一切的明澈。它坐在窗台,看一只苍蝇绕着日光灯飞,看浇花的水珠从洋水仙黄色的花瓣滴下。假使猫微微笑了,胡须在上唇翘扬;假使猫仰头闭眼发出笑声,毛爪子连连拍打窗台,人会逃出房间再不敢进去。动物一笑如成精。猫看透了人的一切。主人的安全感赖于猫不言语,如今笑起来,让人发毛。就是说,人作为智慧生物从快乐的产物——笑的内涵里面感受到了不同的寓意——喜悦、亲近、轻蔑或阴险。
