Objective To investigate the effect of high-fat diet on glomerulosclerosis in adriamycin-induced nephropathy rats. Methods The pathological, immunohistochemical and molecular biological methods combined with image analysis techniques were used to observe the effects of high-fat diet on blood cholesterol, urinary protein, renal pathomorphology and glomerular mesangial matrix formation in rats. Results In the non-nephropathy group and the nephropathy group, the blood cholesterol of the high fat diet rats was significantly higher than that of the standard diet rats (2.2 ± 0.3 vs 0.9 ± 0.1 g / L, P
