瑜伽是一项新兴的项目,近年来风靡于世界,它集动作、呼吸、冥想为一体,使练习者达到心神合一的境界瑜伽既注重培养形体、姿态、动作等外在美,同时,瑜伽锻炼还能纠正学生的身体姿态,提高韵律感、柔韧性和协调性,对减缓压力、放松精神有很好的作用。瑜伽的这些作用非常符合大学生生理和心理的特点,最重要的是它还能增进身体、心理和精神等方面的健康。自从在高校开展以来,瑜伽深受广大师生的欢迎。但由于瑜伽教学模式尚未成熟,使得在瑜伽教学存在着各种各样的缺点。
