“促进中部地区崛起”是我国政府为缩小区域经济发展差距,促进经济协调发展而提出的战略口号。增长极理论为中国区域经济发展提供了重要的战略指南;中部崛起的关键在于培植中部经济增长极,锻造带动中部经济发展的战略引擎;目前中部最能作为具有内核意义的核心增长极培育的一个城市是武汉,武汉腾飞是实现中部崛起的战略突破口之一。
