1975年12月新日制铁君津钢铁厂第二转炉车间的300吨转炉创造了5035炉的炉令记录,从5月27日至12月1日189天连续运转、1975年7月住友金属工业公司小仓钢铁厂第二炼钢车间曾创造了3240炉的炉令记录。这次记录的创造主要是由于用氧化镁控制炉渣技术的改进,需要修补处的检查及耐火材料的吹补技术的提高,以及停吹时保温方法的改进,用计算机进行动态控制技术的应用(提高了终点控制的精度)及加强管理等因素所促成的。
