在大巴山川、陕接壤带有一套浅变质岩系,由于前后两个单位填图时的认识不同,因此接图时就产生了矛盾。为此笔者穿越了几条路线,考察结果与58年石油地质普查一致。原命名的“南天门灰岩”与“岚溪片岩”,时代属前震旦系,伏于冰碛岩之下。这一认识在64年地质学会重庆年会上交流过,并称其为“大巴山群”。 1/20万紫阳幅将这套地层定为下寒武统,按老-新命名为“鲁家坪组”、“箭竹坝组”、“毛坝关组”,覆于“跃岭河群”之上。
