1 Expanding European production and increasing exports to the Middle East and Africa Honda plans to begin exporting to the Middle East and Africa regions both the Ballard and Arco sedans manufactured by its British company in 1996. Honda sedans previously sold in the area were mostly exported from Japan. That changed when Honda’s Swindon plant in Britain went public.
