The development of IC manufacturing industry in China has become more and more mature. The international branch factories and local foundries have been expanding in size, attracting many SMEs. IC industry is now a gratifying trend, industrial investment usher in a new round of growth. UMC, a foundry in Taiwan, will invest in the construction of a 12-inch (1 inch = 2.54 cm) production line in Xiamen with a total investment of 6.2 billion U.S. dollars to produce 50,000 pieces per month. October 28-30, the twelfth China International Semiconductor Exposition and Summit (IC China 2014) debut in Shanghai New State
