Translator’s introduction J.L. Colp PhD is a famous geochemist in the United States, Ph.D. in Chemical PhD at Princeton University and received the NewcombCleveland Award from the American Association for the Advancement of Science. From March 1976, he served as Vice President of Research and Development for Viehser Sur United States and directed the company’s forestry, timber products, fiber products, energy, environment and societies, research and development activities. He has a very extensive and profound knowledge. In this paper, we apply the theories and perspectives of system science, especially the principles of system economics, and present some very insightful views on the production, development and research of forestry and forestry industries.
