012013年1月9日,中国校友会网正式发布《2013中国大学评价研究报告》,这是中国校友会网大学研究团队第11年发布中国大学排行榜。榜单显示,北京大学问鼎2013中国大学排行榜600强榜首,连续6年蝉联中国大学第一,清华大学屈居第二,复旦大学名列第三,浙江大学位居第四,上海交通大学排名第五。报告首次发布了中国一流大学城市排行榜,北京、上海和香港居前三,是两岸三地大学教育综合竞争力与核心软实力最强的城市。最值得关注的是,中国校友会网大学研究团队的报告中提出了“大学牛不牛?关键看教师学术成就和校友事业成就,看其对世界文明、国家富强和社会进步的贡献,不取决于大学的学生人数、论文数量和办学规模”的观点。报告数据还指出:清华最造政商领袖,北大盛产学术大师。
